How it works
WorkSafeBC asks injured workers to tell their physiotherapy clinic that the injury is work-related. Its health care benefits page explains the rest. At BreakThru, WorkSafeBC physio visits book through our front desk rather than online.
- Report the injury to your employer.
- Report it to WorkSafeBC to start a claim, and note your claim number when you get it.
- Call us at (236) 592-1459 and say it's a WorkSafeBC claim. Our front desk books your first visit.
No claim number yet?
Call us anyway. Our front desk will tell you what we need to get started.
Your first visit
Your first physio visit is one on one with one of our physiotherapists. It starts with a conversation about what's going on and what you'd like help with.
Bring your claim number if you have it, your Personal Health Number and any reports or scans. Wear clothes you can move in, and come a few minutes early to fill in a short intake form.
Getting back to work
For a phased return to your job, our Gradual Return to Work program and active rehab are in the same clinic as your physio.
